2010- 2013 Matson logistics ( -Supervisor -Lead)
Started as Lead in the first 2 year's.My responsibilities consisted of a little bit of everything ranging from labor managing to writing APO's.I was Supervisor for night crew for about 2 years, hired and trained everyone on that shift consisting of a little over 20 employees certified everyone. Have a train the trainer course,able to operate, drive clamp, drum picker, paper roll clamp, slip sheet, stand up lift, sit down, bendi, order picker, electric pallet jack, yard goat. Managed a 132,000 square foot facility with hight volume with only 15 dock doors over 50 trailer loads daily (main customer was Nestle waters).Trained most of new Supervisors and some managers help with safety and was a part of safety committee. Was a part of a huge warehouse move consisting of a 230,000 square foot facility in hayward to Oakland racks, accounts, trailers everything had to be relocated and moved in a period of 4 months.
2006-2008 Pac-am Pacific American (lumper/forkliftoperator/lead)
Began as lumper(Container Unloading by hand) moved up to receiving in about 6-8months received just about everything from lot#s mfg dates julian calender dates to electronics, Bonded products etc...
lasted for about 4 months and got promoted to Supervisor taking on more responsibility’s,Now over seeing receiving and picking, Shipping. also was helping place procedures in place helping company with Safety and Cal Osha regulations so company would stay on top of safety and away from lawsuits.
Helped with organizing facility and racking warehouse to maximize space, cut down damage from almost 200,000 dollars to just under 50,000 in a year to under 20,000 the second year by reconfiguring rack spacers aisles ensuring appropriate equipment was being rented out and or bought.
Started the 7s program joined 7s team and rolled out program consisting of labeling and locating just about everything from garbage cans to battery chargers to shadow boards to status at glace boards also set in place and trained personnel distributed responsibility’s and roles for new 7s program to ensure sustainability of of the major component in the 7s.
2006 jan- june 2009 Pacific galvanizing
Started as apprentice moved to forklift driver. Duties and responsibilities consisted of galvanizing and putting certain orders thru acid beds to removed rust paint ect.. got ready for morning crew .operated small company crane to dip metals into acid beds.
2005 to 2006 Dollar tree (Receiving -Stocking )
Responsibilities consisted of unloading trailers with rollers receiving all materials and stocking shelf s to ensure stores were ready for next morning .Received and stocked for all east bay dollar trees .
2005 Applebee's (hostess -dishwasher -waiter-line expo)
Started as hosting moved to back kitchen to dishwasher than moved to line expo and did some fill in waitress here and there.Learned good customer service,Learned to be a bit more of a people person.
2009-2010 (Maintenance entry level)
Performed scheduled pre-maintenance duties included checking and performing turnovers. Light fixtures switches outlets. Faucets touch ups painting. Ensuring all appliances were in good working condition .
