PROFILE
I am an experienced consulting profession with many years of experience in Consulting Management, IT Project Delivery, Business Management and Human Resource Management. I also have considerable experience in business development and sales support. This experience has been gained throughout Canada and across the United States. I am equally comfortable working as a full-time employee or as a contracted consultant. I am also comfortable and effective working remotely.
My management experience encompasses consulting practice management, project/program management and business analysis. Many projects have focused on implementing, upgrading and/or enhancing ERP systems. Business process design/re-engineering and change management were major components of these enterprise projects. I have also managed custom software development projects, using both waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Shared Services is essentially the IT department for the Federal Government. I work in the SDM team that provides IT services to PSPC (Public Services and Procurement Canada). These are large organizations. SSC has approximately 8,000 employees and PSPC has approximately 18,000 employees.
I am generally responsible for business requests related to the Government of Canada pension system and work with a large number of people in the user community and the technical organizations that support it. Again, this is a large system. It operates in two data centres and has approximately 350 servers.
I also work on other business requests outside of the pension area. The service requests for pension and other areas cover a wide range of areas, including: Infrastructure, Software upgrades and maintenance, Disaster Recovery, and providing guidance and advice to users and to technical teams.

As a program manager, I worked with the PeopleSoft support team to monitor a number of maintenance initiatives.
