Resume:

Frank Matta

Outstanding, Dedicated and Masters in Customer Service!

Placerville, CA 95667

+1-916-***-****

First and foremost, I'd like to introduce myself and share a little bit about me. My name is Frank James Matta and I was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. I loved school because of how many friends I had and I was never really a "bad student." I love skateboarding, snowboarding, fishing, watching a good movie, exercising and being around positive and supportive people who care for my well being as well as my family. As far back as i can remember, no matter what it was that I was interested in at the time of my life such as work, hobbies, video games, or sports I always had to give it my all and try to be the best. I don't think it was an ego thing, I believe it was because I am also the baby of 3 boys in my family and we all had the same friend group so I was always the youngest and smallest one growing up. With that being said, I do still have that mindset. No matter what job or career I have; I'll make sure to be the best that I can be. If I was a hotdog flipper, I'll be the best one ever, if I scrubbed toilets for a living, I'd make sure those toilets were shiny as new every day and if I am given an opportunity to try a new career, I'll do whatever it takes while at work and even on my own time I will go to great lengths to be a great employee!

Work Experience

Optician

Cedar Eye Center - Placerville, CA

April 2022 to Present

As soon as our patients come out of the doctors room, I grab their file and walk them over to my desk and simply go over their new prescription with them. After, I let them know based off of their new Rx which lenses are going to be mostly beneficial for them such as single vision lense, bi-focal, tri-focal or a progressive lense and I explain all different lense materials and difference as well as any additional add ons which can help many more symptoms other than just blurry eye sight such as an astigmatism or

"floaters". I always make sure to offere any type of add-ons we may have for lenses such as numerous different tints, transitions (photochromic, photo max, etc.), anti-reflective coating, blue light protection for those on the computer a lot etc. Next, I go over the patients insurance and benefits while they briefly look around at certain frames while I do put together a brief out of pocket expense including co pays if there are any. I then place the order and up to 2 weeks later I dispense the glasses to the patient and make sure there are no issues and answer any questions they may have and do any adjustments to the frame for the patients most comfortable fit.

Seamless Gutter Installer

Universal Windows Direct - Grass Valley, CA

August 2018 to November 2020

As a Gutter Installer for this company, my job was to first take notice of where all of the existing gutters on the structure are. I then either climb up onto the roof or just pry the old gutter off of the house or building while even staying on the ladder depending on my safety, the safety of others, being cautious to not ruin any other parts of the building and safely remove the old gutter and down spouts. Once all old gutters are removed, I take measurements from corner to corner before I run out the seamless gutters to make sure they are to exact length they need to be in order to avoid any potential leaks. After running out all of the new gutters we gently place them on saw horses and prep them with end caps and any other necessary materials. Once each gutter is fully prepped, we hang the new gutters onto the building as well as cutting holes and adding all down spouts. At the end of each job, we always circled the property at least 3 or 4 times making sure there were no nails, trash or debri left behind. Dispensing Optician

Stanton Optical - Albuquerque, NM

April 2018 to July 2019

As soon as our patients come out of the doctors room, I grab their file and walk them over to my desk and simply go over their new prescription with them. After, I let them know based off of their new Rx which lenses are going to be mostly beneficial for them such as single vision lense, bi-focal, tri-focal or a progressive lense and I explain all different lense materials and difference as well as any additional add ons which can help many more symptoms other than just blurry eye sight such as an astigmatism or

Host/Server/Busser

Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que - Lincoln, CA

March 2010 to June 2017

This was my very first job at the age of 16 years old and I started as a busser. As in a matter of months I was now working in the Take-Out department preparing people meals in the back and taking new orders being called in while handling the front to cash out the guests who are here to pick up their food. After take-out I started bar backing for a while where I changed kegs, cleaned off people's tables, and grabbed all the bartenders ice, more beers or liquor, changed the kegs when they were out and always attended to guests needs. Finally, I moved up to serving. I waited on 4 to 7 tables depending on the day of the week but always held it together and not once ever had received any negative feedback from guests to me. Throughout working at Lucilles Smokehouse I had MASTERED the hospitality and customer service and always went above and beyond to make sure my guests were happy and satisfied. At one point, there was even a "Franky Fan Club" started by some of my regulars who would come in quite often. Commercial Plumber

Penrose Plumbing - Grass Valley, CA

February 2015 to May 2016

My job duties for this job were to construct and install the plumbing for new homes, commercial buildings, hotels, restaurants etc. Our 4 man crew would take all measurements, drill different size holes according to the size of the pipes and feed them through each and every piece of wood until it connects to any toilet, sink, shower or hose spigot. We'd sometimes have a remodel job as well to where we had to start off by removing all old galvanized pipelines underneath homes or buildings or sometimes in the attics and replace with new up to date pex pipes.
