Johns Hopkins at Howard County General, an acute care community base hospital. Responsible for managing the operations of Supply Chain Management; its departmental goals and objectives that support the mission of the hospital.
• Provided leadership and supervision for the operational and fiscal objectives as related to supplies and service expenses.
• Inventory management, supply chain logistics, mail distribution and laundry services.
• Interviewing for new hire and supervising support staff of 19 employees with performance evaluation.
• Develop and implement staffing plans and procedures. Train and teach staff – New employee orientation.
• Prepare the annual budget, financial reports, payroll, and employees work schedules for 3 shifts; including request for vacations.
• Implement policies and procedures that conform to the requirements of the hospital.
• Supervise the operations of computer information technology, par excellence, medi-tech control tex and SAP.
• Conduct meetings with hierarchy, support staff, doctors, nursing, and chief financial officer.
• Direct the activities related to professional development, skills competency, promotion, performance appraisal and disciplinary actions.
