This access required the conversion of search criteria information contained in a COBOL copybook into a stream of well-formed XML and the forwarding of the XML stream for transmittal as a request.

(b) Modules then captured the resulting XML stream returned from the vendor, converted it from XML to COBOL copybook format and stored the credit information in DB2 tables for future access.

(c) Designed and coded CICS modules that invoked IBM DataStage to convert XML to COBOL and vice versa.

~ Utilized COBOL, CICS, Changeman, DB2, IBM Debugger, FILEAID, XML/XSD, etc in mainframe environment.
