My position within the company is a warehouse associate. My main duties include taking part of our delivery process by stowing packages into different compartments and assigning each and everyone a bag that is then taken by our drivers and delivered to our most important aspect of the company, our customers!

I’m in charge of accessing a device powered by android, obtaining a scanner and scanning each box and package (they vary from 0.1 to 50 pounds), opening up a bag that is assigned a letter and number alphabetically by aisle, and finally scanning the bag; which then prompts the device to locate each package in the delivery process. There are many other positions within the warehouse, I’ve tried a few in the beginning including scanning packages but found my niche with stowing and have been doing so since November 2018.

Lastly, we are also responsible for maintaining our stow rate which is currently at 185 packages per hour.
