June (2023 – Present) Assistant Quality Engineer for electrical inspections of CTA 7000 Blue-Line series railcars. Monitored mass production process and corresponded in 8D problem-solving method as well as the decision-making process. Cooperate with process engineering; R&D department; and suppliers to determine root cause analysis, generate interim containment actions (ICA), permanent corrective actions

(PCA), and corrective actions to finalize 8D reports. Enhanced quality management system by implementing drop down menu items on inspection forms used for quality analysis on generated monthly quality reports. Updated and revised PPI

(Product Process Inspections); Work Instructions (WI); Product Quality Check Forms

(PQCF); and cooperated with process engineering for continuous improvement. Conducted inspections such as (EWC); (1IW); (2IW); (CAB); (UWC); (WCT); (REC);

(CUP); (CUR); and issued Repair Rework Notice (RRN) reports for each inspection point to production supervisors and workers. Cross-Functional Collaboration with CTA inspectors by deliberating on open items for buyback and closed all items before delivery stage.

Examining supplier parts to ensure quality, consistency, and conformance to CTA’s standard. Reading schematics and drawings to verify product parts are within CRRC’s compliance. Evaluated defective materials by visual and tools supplied. Addressed Notice of Non-conforming Product (NNP) reports to suppliers for replacement parts as well as continuous improvement. Collaborating with the supplier to verify their requirements are being met to CTA’s standards for the final product throughout the process.

On-site quality engineer responsible for quality issues/concerns at Ford (CAP) regarding U611 Lincoln Aviator headlamps. Analyzed and electrically tested rejected headlamps in response to written quality concerns. Responsible for acquiring sort companies and overseeing the sort process (for reworking headlamps). Responsible with Ford Engineer in the headlamp design implementations for PPAP products.
