Welding Experience

2004-07 T.C.I. TIG welder/ fitter. Fabrication of stainless-steel appliances. QA experience, assuring fabrication to within specs, managing production, and assuring the quality of products. 2007-08 Sign Company Stick/MIG welder. Fabrication of Highway billboard signs. Oxy-acetylene cutting/ prep. General shop duties. i.e. grinding, measuring, cutting, use of overhead crane, cleaning 2008 Wolfe Racecraft TIG/MIG welder. Aluminum, Chrome Molly, Stainless, Mild steel. Fabrication of custom roll cages and door panels for racecars. Using Lathes, notchers, saws, calipers, routers, and benders to fabricate custom products.

09 High Rise Systems Inc. MIG/TIG/Stick welder Fabricator. Fabrication of Window Washing equipment for high rise buildings, (i.e. Tie backs, Davits, trolley systems, aluminum platforms). All of which are used to facilitate the safety of laborers in window washing operations. Requires close attention to detail, focusing on engineer specifications to ensure the safe operation of equipment and to ensure the integrity of the system.

2010-2011 Discount Steel Inc. MIG/TIG/Stick welder Fabricator. Custom Fabrication of all types of metals, aluminum, stainless, some copper, and mild steel. Interpreting blueprints to determine the best way to set up Jig/fixture, use a forklift to gather material, then saw, shear, punch, notch, nip, plasma cut, oxy-cut parts to the correct dimensions. Also run drill presses, lathes, and multiple saws. Have the role of expediting the general fabrication duties in the fab area to facilitate consistency in the flow of production (i.e. Overseeing the work of others, general training, and double checking their work). Knowledge of supplies, informing supervisor of needed supplies ahead of time to keep things running smoothly.

A great majority of the work has been performed for the Gas/oil industry, such as oil coolers, various skids, truck frames, crane housings, Brackets, etc., for on and offshore Rigs, and refineries. Many of weldments weighing several tons, making the use of cranes and a general knowledge of rigging and proper lifting of loads a necessity. Able to interpret large, detailed blueprints with great analytical aptitude. Strict tolerances must be held.

Oct 12-Feb13 Falcon Steel Structural steel fitter, layout. Construction of various electrical grid components. Heavier fabrication of Poles and components to be pieced together into huge structures for field fit up.

2013-2017 A&S Steel Combo fabricator and welder. Job shop. Required to take sketches and or customer prints and fabricate custom metal products using all shop equipment to fabricate various types of weldments. Platforms, stairs, handrails, doors, frames…et. Al. As well as lots of field work doing maintenance in food processing facilities, installing and replacing guards, doing various repairs, and customizing the facilities per customer desires. 2017-2018 Industrial Diesel and Mechanics Combo Welder using various processes in Construction of custom oilfield equipment, Frac trucks. Altering trailers, building mounts, battery boxes and frames, as well as constructing piping systems and components required for each unit. Mechanical assembly of units producing functioning Frac trucks.

2018-2023 A&S Steel Combo fabricator and welder. Job shop. Required to take sketches and or customer prints and fabricate custom metal products using all shop equipment to fabricate various types of weldments. Platforms, stairs, handrails, doors, frames…et. Al. As well as lots of field work doing maintenance in food processing facilities, installing and replacing guards, doing various repairs, and customizing the facilities per customer desires. 2023-2024 GST Manufacturing Stainless steel and aluminum welder fabricator. Lots of thin sheet metal fabrication with strict tolerances. Fabrication of kiosks, doors, frames, and various brackets per customer specifications.

TRAINING

2004 Windham School District’s Vocational Welding Program, NCCER SMAW certification, Understands and interprets blueprints. Possessing great math skills and an exceptional knowledge of welding processes, strengths, and stresses; including shrinkage, warpage, heat control, and the physics of molten puddles. Ability to interpret, tack, weld, Jig, and put a finish on a product to complete a job. Also able to safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and a multiplicity of machines, safely rigging lifts/cranes and determining safe operation. Furthermore, having the ability to train and oversee less experienced workers, facilitating the flow of production and bolstering the cost-effectiveness of an employer.
