I have been a nanny for my current family for over a year, taking care of a now three year old and two, one year olds! I started working with the twins when they were just a couple days old and have been with them ever since. I was originally the three year olds teacher when he was enrolled in private school and that is how my journey with them started! My job includes feeding and meal prepping, daily house chores such as dishes and laundry, diaper changes and nap times. I also have accompanied them on family vacation to help with the littles as well.

When I started working at Austin Children's Academy, I began in the toddler classroom, however soon found my place in the infant classroom. In about three weeks of working there, they moved me to the permanent assistant teacher position for the infant classrooms ( ages 8 months- 13 months). My job included knowing each babies feeding schedules, what worked for them to keep their sleep schedules steady. Making sure to have a strong, trustworthy relationship with my lead teacher so we can have a productive work environment. Not long after that ( 6 months ), I was promoted to lead infant teacher and closing manager. I took on the responsibility of my lead teacher and a new task of training a new assistant. My closing manager posture on consisted of shutting dow each classroom, sanitizing, and preparing the school for the next morning.
Nanny
Georgetown, TX
August 2019 to December 2019
My responsibilities include multiple things in my day to day work schedule. When I arrive at work at 2pm, I stay with the three year old until its time to go pick his sister up from school. Then I pick up the six year old from school and take them back home. Some days she has girl scouts, so I will also drop her off at that. Then I make sure they are ready for the next day with lunches packed. I work through the oldest sibling with her sight words and reading. then we work on some math before dinner. The youngest one is a little more easy going. I make sure he has his dinner and his teeth are brushed and he only goes to school twice a week.

Hutto Family YMCA - Hutto, TX
November 2017 to June 2019
My duties and responsibilities in child watch vary depending on what room I was assigned to during my shift. Each room goes by age. There is an infant room from ages 3 months to crawling. In that room you are responsible for changing and feeding the infant, while making sure they are as comfortable as possible. Then the toddler room is from crawling to 3 years old.In this room you help the kids if they are potty training, make sure they play nice with the other kids, have a schedule to check diapers, make sure they are fed and the kids only eat the snacks provided for them because some kids might have allergies. Then you have the kids gym from ages 4 and potty trained to 7, and the zone which has the older kids from ages 8 to 12. With the younger rooms your are way more attentive to the kids and are very much hands on the whole time. With the older kids you tend to watch them play and make sure they are following all the rules of the play ground. Adventure Park Staff

April 2017 to June 2018
My duties at the Adventure Park varied from day to day based on the position I was filling in the department. The day always started with an equipment and course check to ensure everything was in working order and safe to use. If I was on the ground, then my job was to harness and assign proper equipment to the guests. If I was on the course, then my responsibilities included supervising guests as they went through the course, providing assistance to guests if needed. Regardless of position, my responsibilities in the adventure park were to ensure guest safety and enhance the guest experience any way possible.
