Clinical Innovations 2019

Total Rewards Manager

Administered and executed all compensation and benefits-related issues for this 80MM medical-device company and their total-rewards operations for the seven different regions (including Asia, Australia, Europe, United Kingdom). Included compensation and benefits oversight and management for entire professional and hourly staff.

Collaborated with VP of Sales to create a new compensation plan for all U.S. sales professionals including fixed and variable compensation to drive increased sales.

Conducted complete audit of all employees and reconciled enrollment / participation issues with employees and benefits vendors.

Structured a compensation plan for company including job description creation, steps for promotion, and salary ranges for each company-designated position.

DSI Underground 2016 - 2018

Regional Director of Human Resources

Oversaw all HR Operations for 8 countries in North / Central / South America for this company that manufactures ground-support products for the mining and tunneling industries. Reported directly to the Regional CEO with a headcount of over 1,000 employees. Managed a staff of 7 throughout the region to ensure company and employee interests were being addressed.

Major Accomplishments

Executed company initiatives throughout the region and standardized and implemented company policies relative to country / local laws. This allowed executives to address all locations based on company policies.

Decertified the United Steel Workers union at the Louisville, KY facility. This allowed the company to maintain their ability to run and manage the facility without being governed by union rules.

Managed the creation of new job titles and job descriptions for the region. Reducing the existing job title structure from 225 to 74 (reduction of 67%). Tied each job title to an updated compensation structure by country.

Oversaw all legal cases and administration while covering the company’s interests. Saved the company 300K in one lawsuit for Mexico.

Tronox – Alkali Chemical Division 2015 - 2016

HR Director

Executed all human resource functions for this 800MM soda-ash mine and processing plant, with a total headcount of 1000 union and non/union employees. Supported the management team related to the human-resources function. Provided labor relations support to direct managers relative to the USW labor contract. Reported to President.

Major Accomplishments

Oversaw labor relations for mines and production facilities, including over 300 contract grievances, four arbitrations, employee investigations and disciplinary matters.

Oversaw large-scale change management effort including engagement project for engineering staff, which included addressing turnover issues, modifying major initiative processes, providing feedback to group of discipline engineers. Reduced turnover by 26%.

Conducted five major investigations regarding employee / employer relations (one leading to arbitration). Used evidence to derive potential outcomes.
