PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED

While working for Halliburton Baroid Kuwait I encountered many importants factors It was noted I remember, to keep the right MW as you can Keep the eyes on pits levels, even if we have sensors I used to measure While working at KSA, we were adviced of potencial hole problems:

to be taken into account before drilling Gotnia formation, one of this points is: face kick, losses, and be aware at all time of the risk of H2S all pits periodically according to the operations to be carried out. Shallow Gas, Tight Hole, Loss of Circulation above Rus Formation.

Must have enought volume of Heavy Drilling Fluids on location as reserve. Is also important to have a good quantity of LCM on site Taking levels of all active, active reserves. noted losses 214 around 200 bph, pumped LCM pill reducing it to 70bph

Good tank mixer pumps with proper hoses without any leaking. The ECD also will play a good rol that must be respected I suggest to make sure to keep a good inventory of Barite. as noted later total losses decided to swicht to water and gel sweep/mudcap

A good reserve capacity with ability and connections to be transfered incase need it. avoiding exceed the MW limits as per co. Man to avoid losses continue drilling to 30" csg point 550, 50 into rus flow check and no gas.

CARRER SUMMARY

Dear all, I started my carrer on the oil and gas industry since I was a young boy, thru a program in my country to train young people, so I was 15 years old when I joined to BOT, Baker Oil Tools is an experience that am not including here, where I worked initially

for Fishing, mainly working on training at the BOT workshop. It was for 1 year 1991, after some time I joined back on July 1995 to Milpark Drilling Fluids, a Baker Hughes company, so I started on trainings and after I completed the mud school on 1996 the

office send me alone to the rig by once had completed all training certification and safety work permit, initially near dacion field east Venezuela, at the beginning wells with a total depth between 5000ft -8000ft, right after completed some more experience I started

to work at the northern Monaga State on deep drilling, wells with TD 11000ft to 18000ft, wells normally where the daily production rate in bls/day gave us 2000 to 10000 bls/day, those days muchs of the wells drilled by Baker, SLB, Hal in my country

Venezuela. So I grew up in a town near to all this field, completing hitches 7x7 as the wells were near home, sometimes 15x15, I face all types of issues we might encounter during drilling, such as Kick, Loss of Circulation, tight spot, stuck pipes, H2S, well

control, contaminations, high torque and drags etc. All jobs following the mud program giving our supports and recomendations to guarantee the success of the Drilling & Completion and production process, after completed some years in the field at Venezuela I

started around march 2003 to work outside for MI-Swaco as international rotator up today, during my experience in all countries visited untill now I must say mainly the mud engineer must provide a good service, in a good teamwork manner, having control and

monitoring drilling fluids properties, keeping it as per program, under maximun standards of Quality Health & Environment, supporting on site solutions to our clients for a better productivity and safest work place, keeping a clean working place and green planet.

Also one more outstanding experience was running small mud motor to clean out production tubing with coiled tubing equipments, in a time where we have shortages of Mud Motors operators, where I run totally near to 22 motors of 2 7/8" OD in diferents wells,

much of then wells with light crude oil where the production dropped due to obstructions and some others where the production tubing colapse, mainly cleaning with xylene following customers standarts, all documents are availables upon request...is all to mention

for now to summarize my performances, every country and fields has it own challenges, Thanks...LF.
