Perform eye exams with pressure checks, auto keratonometer and testing the patients ability to see the screen before being seen by the optometrist. Checked patients out after appointment collecting any copays or charges incurred at the time of theor visit. Fit patient into glasses (tightening, loosening, straightening, etc). Work directly with Case Managers, patients and physicians on new referrals and/or existing orders for patients on the Oklahoma Medicaid Title 19/Advantage program.

Check Harmony for patient profile on orders received.

Call pt to verify demographics.(D.O.B/Address/alt ph#)

Confirm the supplies and orders are accurate

and needed. The quantity/units requested are enough to assist patient monthly.

Answer and make calls

Check faxes incoming and outgoing with Updox.

Work on call queue weekly to get completed orders returned.

Check MCD website for status of approvals or denials and Prior Authorization completed.

After verification is completed. Run labels and ship patient supply for the month
