In Bayan Tel, I was able to justify and control group capitalization of PHP 10M in the time when most companies tighten their belts during the Asian financial crisis in the mid to late 1990s. As a result, and as history shows, Bayan Tel became the primary data telco provider in the Philippines because of the technology initiatives / blueprints that I authored and to some built.

Operationally, I have also successfully managed my department’s expenditure within the budgeted allocations even when there were changes in business or technology directions mid year.

From a business financial perspective, I’m able to lead or help realize revenue projections in all the programs and initiatives that I’m responsible/involved in during my stints in Verizon, IBM and Huawei.

On Cost Management, I helped finalize product and services costing / Pricing offers in Bayan Tel (Managed Services), PDS (FinTech Services) and Huawei (Solution and Delivery Offers). Successfully consulted on innovations of up to USD 11M and managed project revenue of up to USD 9M

• PEOPLE / RESOURCE LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT: I had very low resource attrition rating due to my management approach which is combination of being “Operationally Strategic”, “Objective Policy Centric”, applies an “Open-Door Policy” on communications, always applies “Fair Labor Practices” without affecting the organization’s bottom-line and always encourages and supports “Team and Individual Skill Development” and experience in developing and managing IT Capability Model.
