Work fulltime – 40 hours per week as an owner and Locum Tenens Chiropractic Physician.
Consult with patients to understand their chief complaint by reviewing their individual health and medical histories. This included questioning, observing and examining patients.
If medically indicated, arrange for diagnostic radiography: x-rays, CT scan, and/or MRI.
Analyze radiography in order to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.
Evaluate patients' neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using orthopedic exams and chiropractic palpation to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions
Evaluate patients' functional movements and range of motion.
Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated
Present patients’ report of findings and educate patients on the care plan for recovery / restoration.
Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
Set and manage patient expectations for the total care plan, the stages of care / recovery, and individual treatments.
Educate patients on the quality-of-life benefits of routine chiropractic care.
Build positive doctor-patient relationships
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Each location had a different script that they wanted presented to patients. The scripts were memorized, internalized, and presented to all potential patients.
