Tiernan & Patrylo. Inc. Marietta Ga. Commercial Estimator (2017 to 2018 12 months) for major remodels of existing structures into office space and family entertainment facilities. Involved site and major structural changes on some projects. Demo thru final finish. Acquire subcontractors and suppliers for projects. Additional projects included manufacturing facility additions and site work. Field trips to obtain information on existing conditions and meetings with possible subcontractors. The standards for the quick change tooling, used in a tqms and world-class fabrication effort. Additional areas of control included the department budget and liaison function within the company with other departments and with tooling and fabrication vendors. The establishment of a master layout department within the tool design unit to provide tool and production layouts for fabrication of parts and tools and the inspection of it. This involved the establishment of cost justification and budget and the hiring of personnel and the training of tool designers to do layout work. The department was established in only 3 months.
