JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·Monitoring and Addressing the Breakdown.

·Trouble shoots the machine breakdown and solving technical issues (minor/medium level complexity) in the break down.

·Applying trouble shooting tools to identifying and also rectifying the Obstruction/Breakdown.

·Monitoring of MTTR and MTBF and reporting.

·Plan for AMC of machines and review performance of supplier.

·Analyses and identifies root cause for machine or equipment breakdown and provides instruction to rectify the same

·Responsible for Spare management and close monitoring the stock.

·Exploring for Localization options of imported spares which contribute financial record.

·Exposure in planning and effectuating preventive maintenance schedules for various equipment/lines to increase machine uptime & equipment reliability.

·Responsible for Inspection of Newly developed Tool and Fixtures and documenting the reports.

·Responsible for facing Customer/Internal/Certifications Audit.

·Getting right Quotes from suppliers for tools and spares and making comparison.

·Raising of PR and Follow up with Purchasing Team/ Suppliers for PO and Delivery respectively.

·Responsible for conducting daily meeting for prioritizing the Tasks to other Technicians.

·Responsible for reduction of IDC.

·Analyzing the cycle time of Machines for Bottleneck Process and reducing the same.

·Implementing POKA-YOKE for all machines.

·Manpower handling and shift planning.

ACHIEVEMENTS

·Explored local supplier for Pulley Tightening Drive Bit successfully and reduced Lead time for the Procurement of Import which in turn in saving Costs and reduction in safety stock.

·Introduction of Automatic Greasing to improve productivity and prevent wastage of grease in Starter motor line.

·Reducing the cycle time of slip ring turning machine which is bottleneck for production from 24 sec to 20 sec by designing a dual tool holder.

·Developed combined fixture in Diode pressing process and Performance testing process to eliminate change over.

·Successfully developed new tools and fixtures for new product.

·Introduced additional loading fixture in pre pressing machine to improve productivity.

·Introduced combined fixture in performance test bench and reduced the change over time and spare log.

·Introduced combined Bush pressing and Fitting Ring pressing process to reduce change over time.

·Reduced Breakdown and Spare cost in Diode pressing and cutting process by modified its cutting mechanism.

·Localized Balancing and Coil winding machine spares which contribute much in maintenance procurement cost.

·Reduced the breakdown in coil winding machine by modifying its tools.

·Provide Poka-Yoke for checking the pinion in Starter motor for different models along with auto grease setup.

·Design and implement new poka yoke for caulking miss as detection in Slip ring pressing station which also contribute internal defect.

·Modified the tool design of Pulley assembly process and arrest continuous breakdown.

·Introduced power saving project (Machine ideal time automatic chiller power off) .

·Reduced Breakdown and Spare cost in pulley tighten machine and tighting process by modified its tighting mechanism.

·Introduced new method for resin waste in disen machine to improve productivity.
