I would also design Drill fixtures, Dies of all types as well as welding fixtures to perform a more productive and comfortable work rate.

Entered into a 4 year program for Tool & Die Making in 1986 and within 2 years had completed all necessary tests to become a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker, Grinding Die Sections, Repairing and Building New Dies if needed. Replacing Guide Posts Springs, Stripper Plates, Punches and Dies, performed all Tool Room duties for manufacturing window air conditioning units.

March 1981 - March 1986: Shelby Tool & Die, Shelbyville, Illinois. Machinist.

Set up and operate Manual Mills, Lathes, Grinders, Shapers and all Hand Tools to produce quality parts quickly. Production including Turbo charger parts, paper cup and plate machine parts, cast iron valve machining, also with this company for 3 years I operated a Harrison Hydraulic Tracer Lathe used for making molds for a steel company.

Summary:

I have over 37 years experience in the machining industry and always pride myself on my work. I work well as a team player, but also have the experience and knowledge to work very well on my own. I am looking to secure a position with a company where I can put my skills to good use to benefit the company as well as myself. I also have some hands on experience working with plastic blow mold injection, some air assist some non-air assist.
