Provide analytic support to three (3) PMs and Client Services to ensure business requirements and acceptance documents for eCommerce functional launch phases of Navy Federal Credit Union and Southwest Airlines malls, as well as, enhancements to VisaOffers® program projecting for 250,000 consumers (with 22% retention), generating $33 million online sales delivered by the industry's most comprehensive card-linked offer platform.

BUSINESS ANALYST/PROJECT SPECIALIST - CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION MARCH 2004 – JULY 2011

Provided broad analytic and systems support within the Division of Global Migration and Quarantine (DGMQ) – Border Health Services Branch (QBHSB). Researched and compiled business requirements from end-users and stakeholder interviews to author BRDs with functional [eg., business rules, audit tracking, etc.] and non-functional [eg., static performance, serviceability, etc.] requirements and transitioned with the Agile methodology to author User Stories for various DGMQ projects.

Evolved the DGMQ – DERAT Certification program into a national technical module, implemented a communication plan, authored SOPs and coordinated 45 end-users training to manage change and reduce discrepancies which resulted in a savings of 80% in funds returned to the agency, reduced outstanding balances which averaged $240,000 per year over a 4-year period. This Certification program was reviewed by the World Health Organization (WHO), International Health Regulations.

Facilitated weekly JAD requirements sessions with a triage team of multidisciplinary Epidemiological SMEs, stakeholders and end-users responding to daily surveillance investigations and activities occurring on international commercial airlines. Collected data from interactive surveillance forms using Adobe LiveCycle Designer 7.0 for the maturation of the Quarantine Activity Reporting System (QARS) release 5.0.3 – a web-based database reference application to standardize illness nomenclature, translate and reformat over 6,500 historical illness reports through migration to meet compliance standards. Analyzed system capabilities and developed MS Visio process flow diagrams to assist Change Management lead in scripting Test Cases with end-users and stakeholders. QARS v5.0.3 reports communicated Quarantine Station activity to federal agencies, Customs and Border Protection Officials and the Department of Homeland Security resulting in a cost-effective reduction measure savings for the Division of $120,000 annually.

Provided analytical assistance and data management in the development of web surveys for a series of epidemiological investigations focused on risk factors of non-pharmaceutical interventions of pandemic influenza A (H1N1) outbreaks using the PASW/SPSS instrument mrInterview. Ensured all data was complied, checked for errors, duplication, and descriptive analysis of the study variables as directed by the team’s Database Manager. Designed diagrams in MS Visio to illustrate the data management and analysis process that were integrated into published scientific peer-review manuscripts.
