Work Experience

Tasker/Clerk

Urban Outfitters - Gap, PA

October 2022 to January 2024

My job as a Tasker at the Urban Outfitters distribution center included receiving my paperwork with each PO ( purchase order ) then locating the orders throughout the warehouse.

Once the order is located, I proceed to check the trade stone on the outside of each box, then open the boxes to check the product inside to make sure the sku & the price is correct according to my paperwork

After everything appears correct, I would use an RF gun to scan and complete my paperwork, recording it on a sheet of paper to be turned in at the end of the day.

Next, I would begin to consolidate the boxes on a different pallet for back stock. This involves a lot of simple math and heavy lifting.

I was trained in most departments at urban including packing, shipping, cost of goods and back stock. I was a trainer during inventory time. I was in charge of inventory prep as well. I was also trained on a computer as a clerk for back stock, fixing problems. I also worked in the fulfillment center across the street to pick orders as well as created cases. Overall, this job allowed me to gain a lot of experience in a warehouse setting.

April 2022 to June 2022

During my time at ivy acres, it was short but a lot of info was absorbed. Here I learned the process of growing roses and how to maintain them in man made huts with hammer and nails.

Taking down tarps when it gets hot to cool the roses and prevent burning as well as putting up tarps when the temperatures were below the healthy temperature to prevent frostbite. I was here for shipping season. My job was to prepare flower carts and scan them to be sent for shipping. Some days consisted of 16 hour days sending out trucks with roses that were good enough to sell.

Tasty Baking Company - Oxford, PA

November 2021 to April 2022.

sell and which ones have faults ( including buns without seeds, burnt buns, etc. ) This part of the process was the packing process.

I was noticed by higher up supervisors and promoted to machine operator and learned two machines in the span of 3 months. The divider machine, which separated the dough balls from the mixer to then be sent to the panomat machine which places dough balls firmly pressed onto
