Have been an examiner for M.D and D.A. at various universities and have also been attending various conferences with active participation, chairing as well being on panel discussion on various subjects within the same sphere of Anaesthesia.I had been appointed as External Examiner for doctorate in Anaesthesia at University of Poona, M. S. INDIA in November, 2003HOD
I was appointed as inspector by MCI at Medical College Bhavnagar for recognition of PG courses in Anaesthesia in September 2002.
As HOD –ARD at 7Hills hospital I made proposals for Medical college,5 paramedical colleges, Nursing Schools, and got inspections done successfully by state government.I also got inspection done by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences for post MBBS various certificate and Fellowship courses.
I initiated process of research activities by charting out plan for clinical research,forming independent ethics committee, scientific committee etc.
We started nurses’ in house training also formed a booklet for patient assistants’ training.
I was asked to set up the department from beginning.
However as per contract I continued with my clinical practice and also various other activities.

WORKSHOPS.
Nov 94 - Organized a workshop on “NEWER TECHNIQUES IN COMBINED SPINAL-EPIDURAL ANAESTHESIA” at SIR. J.J. Hospital, Grant Medical College, Mumbai. Dr. Andre Van Zundert, Secretary General, Europian Society of Regional Anaesthesia gave a live demonstration and lecture.
OTHER ACTIVITIES.
1992 – 1994 - Conducted 50 camps of closed cardiac surgery at the district hospitals. As a Chief Anaethetist I conducted 13-17 cases at each of these camps in state of MAHARASHTRA,INDIA.
I have been responsible for popularizing the Technique of Autologous Blood Transfusion in India. I have criss-crossed the country for live demonstrations and lectures on the same subject.

Sep 97 - Completed six weeks of training in Critical Care at University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, and U.K.
Mar 98- Started 30-beded Critical Care Unit at Sir J. J. Hospital taking care of surgical medical specialties including super-specialty and I was responsible for planning, designing, purchase of equipment, staffing and commissioning of unit. This is the best multifaceted critical care unit in country today.
Supervised & guided administration and promoted research and teaching in critical care for medical and paramedical staff. This unit is functioning from March 99.
Presently faculty member for BioMedical Equipment Maintenance and Repair Certificate Course conducted by Government Polytechnic. Mumbai.
At Dr DY Patil Medical College, Mauritius, I have already participated in Three workshops in Medical Teaching Technilogy. I was speaker in one of the workshops and spoke on ÁRT OF COMMUNICATION’. For rest two I participated as delegate.
Recently i.e. in October 2112 I participated in workshop on ‘Good Clinical Practice & Medical Research.
