Colorado Department of Revenue – Licensing Specialist January 2023 – May 2023
I independently reviewed applications, conducted background checks, fingerprinted, and ultimately issued or denied licenses for positions ranging from tending bar to executive officers of casinos and sports betting business throughout the state of Colorado.
Other responsibilities included administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, attending meetings/conferences, and scheduling appointments for applicants.
City and County of Broomfield Attorney’s Office – Extern June 2019 – August 2019
I conducted research, drafted memos, took notes during depositions, and assisted in litigation.
My research projects focused on citizens’ rights to exercise freedom of speech on government property, amendments to the city zoning code/oil and gas regulations, advisory opinions to the police department, and child custody disputes involving city social workers.
Cognitive Development Center – Research Assistant August 2014 – May 2015
I helped design, implement, oversee, and recruit for a variety of research projects intended to uncover new information about childhood Attention Deficit Disorder.
As a project lead, I was directly responsible for managing community outreach to obtain participants, complete all necessary paperwork, teach/instruct participants how to engage in experiments, gather/code data, and presenting results at meetings with the Ph.D. candidates.
Paragon Assessment and Psychotherapy – Intern June 2014 - August 2014
My responsibilities included patient intake, taking notes during interviews, aiding in making determinations regarding mental health and psychological status of patients, and helping those seeking relief from trauma and/or declining mental health.
I administered the Minnesota Multiphase Personality Inventory-2 via in-person interviews to inmates of the Cullman County Jail to determine mental capacity to stand trial.
