WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE:

October 2020 to date: Owner and Editor at TheUgPost. I registered and started running a News Website https://theugpost.com/ in October 2020. Here, I write, edit and publish long- form stories mostly about women and other marginalized persons. August 2019 to December 2020; Editor, Writer/content creator at Andariya International Magazine- working with a team of at least 20 female writers to create a positive image for the East African Region. Andariya Magazine received a Peace Award in 2016 for her work.

May 2019 to January 2020; Digital/Media Manager Uganda Airlines – Managed all Digital Communications for Uganda Airlines from the arrival of planes until after official commercial business began. Laid strategies to attract passengers through Digital and Mainstream media platforms. This was done under Abbavator Advertising agency. December 2018 to July 2019; News Anchor at 103.3fm Radio 4 Kampala- Wrote, Edited and anchored News on Radio. Also trained News Anchors. Feb 2018 to July 2019; Correspondent/Editor at Hotshot News Uganda- Went to the field to gather News, voiced and uploaded on Hotshot Website daily. Had a team of Cameramen. Feb to July 2018; Digital contributor at Anti-Counterfeit network for Africa- Used my Digital platform (Twitter) to inform Ugandans and Africans at large about counterfeit products on the market and how to avoid them.

Feb 2018 to November 2018; Media Manager Sauman Services Limited, now Optimal Manpower Placement in Kabalagala. Human Resource Manager. I was in charge of recruiting and managing employees for the recruitment agency. I was also in charge of the media.

November 2015 to January 2023; Editor and Writer at www.howwe.biz Contributing National, Business and Health News to Howwe.Biz, a local News site. Oct 2013 to Jan 2018; Head of News; Senior News Writer, Editor and Anchor at 100.2 Galaxy FM and website www.galaxyfm.co.ug Kampala.- Led a team of 7 News reporters, and Anchors for both English and Luganda. The team and I delivered News every day for 5 years until I moved on and a new Editor was appointed. During my tenure, I was also in charge of internships and more than 200 interns from different universities and other higher institutions of learning benefited from my shared knowledge. I was also in charge of Digital management of the Galaxyfm 100.2 (Twitter handle/Facebook page). Accountant at Galaxy fm- Kansanga Kampala 2013-2015.
