Oriskany Central School District; Oriskany, NY Clinical Externship, September – December 2023
· Developed and implemented functional lesson plans for children ages 4-18 with a wide variety of disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder, receptive/expressive language disorders, and articulation disorders
· Implemented a variety of evidence-based intervention such as Speech Motor Chaining, enhanced milieu treatment, etc.
· Performed and interpreted the CELF-5 screener on all pre-k and transfer students to determine need for speech services
· Collaborated with classroom teachers and school OT/PTs to ensure maximum functional progress and carry-over of skills
· Participated in CSE and IEP meetings to report student’s progress and advocate for individuals who would benefit from speech services

· Performed Bedside Swallow Evaluations on patients with CVA, head and neck cancer, and other neurological disorders in the acute care and nursing home setting
· Educated patients with aphasia on restitutive and compensatory expressive language strategies such as Verb Network Strengthening Treatment and Semantic Feature Analysis to improve communication effectiveness
· Collaborated with representatives from Tobii Dynavox to educate and implement use of the TD Snap program using an AAC device for patients with severe Apraxia of Speech
· Observed and assisted in the feeding of premature newborns by tracking suck-swallow sequences during feeding in the NICU

Sheraton Hotel; Syracuse NY Home Care Aide, June 2020-Current
· Assisted, cared for, and performed daily tasks for an elderly man who is diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy
· Provided meals, transportation, and aided in giving him the right medication at the right time
· Overnights consisted of being on call for any help he needed to make him feel comfortable
· Took blood pressure and temperature daily as well as driving and assisting him in any doctor’s appointments he has
Discovery Kids Daycare; Amherst, NY Teacher Assistant, September 2020 – May 2021
· Assisted lessons presented by teachers by reviewing material with students one-on-one or in small groups
