Assistant Materials Manager

Responsibilities within the Central Instrumentation Processing Unit/Operating Room include inventory maintenance of all hospital supplies and prostheses, daily ordering of operation room supplies, patient implants, equipment and instrumentation. I was also responsible for coordinating equipment repairs, purchases and returns.

Responsible for all outpatient and inpatient surgical booking through the operation room and minor surgery. Duties include: schedule maintenance and distribution, appointment setting for pre-surgical testing, input of post-operative data, admission reports, interpretation and reporting of abnormal laboratory values to doctors offices, quality assurance of/and correction of daily surgical logs. Also responsible for implant charging and operation room charges on the ORSOS Windows computer system. I also relieved the operation room administrative assistant as needed.
