Experience:

Cadence McShane Dallas, TX

7/2021 to Present

Senior Superintendent

This is a top GC in the US doing everything from industrial, K12, hotels and multifamily. i was hired as a senior superintendent to run 1 job in Beaumont Texas as it turns out lack of staff i end up running 2 as the same time smaller size jobs then I’m use to run 32 million a price, 1 was a garden style 9 buildings 8 of them being units totaling 193 3 story stick and brick and Hardie. low end finishes that were built for the Housing Authority nice amenities center with a courtyard which was the 9th building named Trinity Groves. The 2nd one was a 4-story u shaped building with 200 units 4 trash shoots and 4 elevators 2 passenger and 2 freight, low end finishes like the other one which were being built for the same owner and housing Authority. also, a nice courtyard with BBQ grills and fire pit dog park and a greenhouse with elevated planners. This was a 55 and older community. I also ended up going to Spring Texas to fix and project coming out of the ground and owners had issues with the super, so they asked me to step in for 3 months till they found someone to take over full time. Once I got there 5 mins into the meeting with all the big wiggles setting at the job site table, I could see the plumbers and concrete crew digging footings and plumbers digging the trunk line pulling out big sized rock and wood debris. I stopped the meeting right there and then and asked for the Geotech report the report read to dig down 3-foot lime the 1 foot as it laid so it being the 4th foot in place then 6” lifts. I had everyone walk out on site with me to look at what the crew were pulling out of the supposed select fill line treated soil. but it was all trash long story short i let the super and the Geotech company go and ripped it out and started over with the right material. if the super was on site watching the trucks being unloaded and the geo tech guy out of his truck, they could have both caught this but neither one did their job that's why i all say you can’t be a job trailer super.
