PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

INFINEON TECHNOLOGIES AMERICAS CORP., Temecula, California Software Engineer July 2006 – June 2023

Ensured the smooth running of production fabs by creating, maintaining and provisioning data systems for prompt and accurate business decision making.

Designed and developed Automated Data Collection for numerous manufacturing tools using .NET technologies and SQL Server, providing the process engineers and tool operators with the necessary data for decision making, hence reducing excursions/scrap.

Collaborated with foreign colleagues on the integration of a new MES – Camstar, to replace an older MES system using Oracle PL/SQL to provide data for different aspects of the system.

Worked with different facets of operations (fabs: clock-in and clock-out, facilities, HR) to integrate with the fab/tools to ensure that the needed data is available for seamless daily operation.

Enhanced/Maintained a Paging system integrated with the MES (SPN) used to alert appropriate personnel based on tool status for speedy response to issues preventing tool downtime using PHP and SQL Server.

Managed and participated in the installation, configuration, and continuous upgrade of the fab SPC charting and issue-alerting software (Infinity QS).

Developed and provided the documentation of technical steps and items needed for the automatic installation of the SPC software in all fab clients.

Participated in the migration of the fab SPC software from a Terminal Services environment to a Thick Client environment.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (CONTINUED)

Took up the enhancement of a PHP internally-built website/system after the abrupt departure of the staff member responsible for it, came up to speed with the workings of the system and delivered on a crucial time-sensitive request.

Participated in the migration of applications, processes, windows-based services, databases from one domain to another and created comprehensive documentation to support the process post- acquisition.

Participated in the migration of fab machines from Windows 7 to Windows 10 collaborating with the software Baseline team to ensure that all necessary fab-related software were available with each machine build.

Designed and developed applications to track Quartz movement from tool to tool (including cleaners) and to enhance the spotting of defect density by the Probe Engineers, using ASP.NET MVC and SQL Server.

Maintained and enhanced a Diffusion Monitor application developed using ASP.NET MVC with a SQL Server backend for gas/temperature which helped to avoid anomalies, potential costly excursions and product scraping by providing alerts/alarms based on threshold parameters inputted by the Engineers.

Redesigned a system that provided tool monitoring data by-passing part of the process that pulled data from a database-generated file, instead going directly from SQL Server database to SQL Server database, hence, reducing data availability latency and improving efficiency.

Designed and developed a cross-platform application (Windows/Unix) to automate processes that were being performed cumbersomely manually, finding a creative way to bridge the interaction between the disparate systems using FTP in C# .NET, increasing efficiency, effectiveness and saving time.

Participated heavily in the ramping down of fab operations, providing technological expertise (data archiving – SQL Server, programmatic registry modification - windows scripting); created comprehensive handover documentation and conducted trainings for knowledge preservation and continuity.

Database Administrator & Data Warehouse Developer July 2001 – June 2006 Oversaw the creation, maintenance and provisioning of data systems required for daily operations.

Administered various databases in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.

Developed a data warehouse, installed, configured, and used Business Intelligence software

(ProClarity) and Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (MSAS) to make the data available for users.

GTE/VERIZON, Tampa, Florida June 2000 – August 2000 Application Developer Intern

Designed, developed, and tested an internal web-based email application.

Enhanced Unix scripts using Perl scripting language for increased productivity. EDUCATION
