Relevant Project Experience

One Congress Street Tower, Boston, MA

Cost: $540,000,000

This project is a 43-story office tower constructed of LBE & Slurry wall deep foundations and structural steel and poured in place concrete slabs on decking. The curtain wall consists of unitized glazing systems and a connection roof terrace that connects to the residential building.

The Sudbury Residential Tower, Boston, MA

Cost: $450,000,000

This is a 47-story residential building that consists of 368 Apartment units and 55 Condo units on the top 11 floors. This building has a combination of LBE’s, Casson and Slurry wall for a deep foundation system. The lower portions of the building consist of poured in place structural slabs. Once past the 3rd floor all the structural systems consist of post tension slabs with a large concrete core and shear walls on each side. The façade consists of a metal panel system with unitized glass panel system. There are two distinct featured areas on the 9th floor that consists of a pool cantilevered of the structure by a large transfer beam built into the design and there is a 32nd floor outdoor roof deck in the apartment portion. These two areas consist of a full gym, yoga studio, Bar and lounge and Sport simulator room on the 9th floor. The 32nd floor consists of a Chiefs Kitchen area, a full lounge with pool table with direct access out to the outdoor roof deck with a westerly view. The condo floors are prefinished in various sizes consisting of 5 units per floor. There is a dedicated club room on the 33rd floor and a 48th floor roof terrace for condo owners only.

Twenty 20 Residential Tower, Cambridge, MA

Cost: $250,000,000

This is a 20-story ground up 355-unit apartment building that features direct views of Boston from a roof terrace, outdoor roof deck and a large amenity floor including basketball court. The building was constructed from Structural Steel and concrete on decking. The exterior consists of metal panels and a unitized glass and spandrel system. Government Center Garage Capital Projects, Boston, MA Cost: $56,000,000

This project was performed in the Western portion of the garage to bring the current systems and structural up to code. It involved removing the topping slab in areas to allow structural clips to be repaired or replaced throughout the garage. All the electrical systems were upgraded to current codes and an entire dry sprinkler system was installed also. We also installed mechanical ventilation systems with CO detection systems. We installed new traffic coating in the entire garage along with an enhanced signage package to assist patrons with their location. In order to help improve the flow of traffic we installed upgraded entrance and exit gate systems with vehicle recognition cameras to speed up transactions. We also installed two new elevators and an additional egress stairwell to improve the customer experience. All this work was performed in numerous phases and the garage stayed fully functional during the entire operation. Government Center Garage Enabling & Mass Deconstruction, Boston, MA Cost: $50,000,000

This project consists of complete demolition of the Eastern portion of the garage reducing the garage in half. This had numerous challenges a large portion is over the MBTA Green

& Orange line train tunnels heading north. The required numerous meetings to determine the safest and best way to demolish the garage structure with the MBTA team assigned to the project. The work consisted of work on non-revenue time frames to remove one piece at a time over the MBTA right of way. This involved several City of Boston agencies to be involved it involved the closure of Merrimac Street that the garage spanned over. Government Center Garage Enabling Part 1, Boston, MA Cost: $6,000,000

This project consisted of new ramping on the 3 lower floors of the garage to improve the functionality of the garage. It also included the installation of a new exit ramp to be installed for future development to take place and always keep the garage operational. All this work took place while the garage stayed operational the entire time. Government Center Garage Partial Demolition, Boston, MA Cost: $10,000,000

This demolition was performed in the Southwestern corner of the garage to make way for the new Residential building that was going to constructed in that location. The demolition was performed during several shifts to expedite the schedule. Government Center Garage Helix, Stair & Elevator Deconstruction, Boston, MA Cost: $25,000,000

This project consisted of the deconstruction of the existing garage helix ramp and the existing egress stair and elevator tower to make way for the new office tower, One Congress. It was critical that this work took place while keeping the garage open to the public. We had to construct temporary overhead protection to keep Bowker Street open directly beside the helix ramp.

Puma Corporate Office Fit-Out, One Congress Street, Boston, MA Cost: $5,000,000

This was a 60,000 SF space with an open ceiling concept, bar joists exposed along with all the fireproofing and mechanical equipment installed and everything painted. There is a large server room, UPS system, Rack mounted Cooling system, pre-action system. Involved tremendous field coordination of all trades involved because of the exposed nature of everything. This project was constructed in a 12-week schedule. MA Department of Industrial Accidents Fit Out, One Congress Street, Boston, MA Cost: $3,500,000

This was a 55,000 SF project with numerous offices interior & exterior, 10 interior hearing rooms, numerous challenges were to coordinate all the state required items into the design & construction with too many parties make decisions when they wanted to. We performed this work in a 10-week time frame.
