Group Product Manager, North America Point of Sale (POS)

Led a team of 12 responsible for analyzing, identifying, defining, and overseeing the implementation of new products and services using a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) in the POS space in support of North American merchant services.

Product owner for cross-functional team responsible for the introduction and implementation of Android based POS terminals. Initiative successfully delivered with an adoption rate of 10,000 transactions in the first three months and $1,000,000 in transaction dollars in the first 30 days.

Product owner for the Legacy Terminal Replacement effort. This effort included replacing approximately 150 thousand older POS devices which were coming to their end of service and end of compliance lives. This initiative removed outdated, unsupported POS terminals from our customers, replacing them with better supported and more flexible (product offerings) android-based models.

Led cross-functional team to research, analyze, and select an additional Android based vendor (Castles Technology) for the Elavon terminal product offerings. The addition of this vendor provided critical supply chain relief while also increasing the number of products and services available to our customers.

Product owner for monthly, quarterly, and annual releases on two vendor supported POS terminal product lines. Increased release throughput by 25% while reducing initial testing defects by 20%.

Ernst & Young (EY), Atlanta, GA 2013-2021

Senior Manager

Formerly BPM Specialists, Inc. became EY through an acquisition in 2014. Senior Manager in the Automation Practice responsible for leading client engagements defining and implementing digital transformations. Managed account relationships, pursuit opportunities, and practice competencies, to include recruiting, project management, talent management, and delivery center management.

Led a 37-person team providing implementation projects using agile delivery methods to a major client in the pharmaceutical industry. Successful delivery reduced product testing cycle by 12% while improving process transparency and product testing documentation.

Implemented support services using onshore and offshore teams based on Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). Initiated devops model for ongoing delivery. This support initiative led to a 15% reduction in support costs while increasing daily support coverage times by 33%.

Led the Pega implementation program in support of a business transformation program using kanban agile methodology for a client in the automotive auction space.
