It gives me a great privilege to have this opportunity to refer Douglas Tucker for Community Liaison position at Preston Hollow. The five years I have known Douglas, he has shown exceptional qualities worthy of notice.

Mr. Tucker has always been well supporting of any programs that we offer at the school. He does not hesitate to go the extra mile when it comes to seeing that certain tasks are carried out effectively. He works well with a team of people, and he never complains. He works well with struggling student that needed to be place in a WRAP Program to address their deficiency. He works well with student and families to address their concerns related to the student, through district resources and community referrals. He has always assisted Attendance & Truancy, Student Discipline, Parent Advocacy, and Parent Engagement, SBDM, Student Support Team, Assisted the P.T.A. president with teacher membership participation. As a community Liaison I assisted a health fair targeting men that were experiencing Prostate Cancer. Assist with day to day operation of the building, also with uniform that the students need, encourage personal, social, emotional, health, academic and career success. Conduct Home Visit to support district initiatives. Regularly meet with Coordinator Manager for updates. As always submit documentation to support the project.

Douglas has been an exceptional employee, and he is always recommended to mentor teens by many teachers. He has an excellent rapport with the students and sees to it that they clearly understand the expectations that are achievable in a short period of time. He would often refer students to me that needed social services, counseling, mentoring or support to stay in school. Mr. Tucker carries himself in a professional manner and focuses on professional growth. He is an excellent person to be around and make others feel significantly important as he collaborates with them.
