Resolved TIQs (test in questions from clients).

• Sections I work on are Blue (PT/PTT), COVID, Lavender (CBC), Urine (urinalysis or urine culture), and Windoapth (PAP specimens) TIQs. Right after whoever needs help depending how many we have for the day I work on other TIQ sections too

• I also worked on Quality indicators such as

2. Missing 2 Patient Identifiers for Blood Bank Samples – (Core Lab) 3. Surgical Specimens W/o 2 Patient Identifiers – (Pathology/Cytology) 4. Paps with 1 Patient Identifier – (Pathology/Cytology)

• Added it to salesforce to let FSR know and inform the client in order to be re-educated as a reminder for the future.

• I email the offlines to each department (Molecular, Microbiology, Pathology) of the resolved TIQs for the day.

• For Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease telehealth research study, managing clinical trials and collecting data, informing participants about study objectives by recruitment through informed consents, randomization and administering surveys to participants, administering questionnaires adhering to HIPAA laws to enrolled subjects within Northwell Health hospitals on Long Island Assisted and performed Institutional Review Board for human related study purposes

• Conducted literature review on COPD patient’s perceptions on telehealth.

• Ensured and performed qualitative research on interviewing COPD patients to identify if telehealth is being effective.

• African Americans & Hispanic patients were consented and were interviewed by asking 13 open ended questions

• Interviews were transcribed and coded using Atlas TI software
