Conducted Tool Box Talks bi-weekly for training on new procedures and current safety requirements with over 30 crews.
Performed Regular Inspection of the Companies Utility, DOT, Private Grading, and Maintenance departments to insure appropriate work behaviors. Investigated any accidents and produced detailed accident reports. Conducted chains, slings and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) inspections on a monthly basis.
Maintained and updated corporate vehicle tags and registrations. Reviewed inventory of the PPE’s and supplies and ordered as necessary.
Formulated and planned budgets and forecasts. Improved revenue and margin from $2.6MM annual revenue and 35% margin in 1996 to $5.4MM annual revenue and 48% margin in 2000 through process improvements and customer service.
Established improved Quality Control procedures for a $5 million organization. This resulted in annual maintenance charge savings of $50K; equipment cost savings of $84K; reduced staff and inventory annual savings from $45K to $24K.
Conducted weekly staff meetings and quarterly general meetings with all employees to review the organization’s performance, plans and problems. This resulted in improved employees’ participation, significantly reduced turnover and improved communications.
