Senior Director of Administration and Operations June 2019-July 2023

As the Senior Director of Administration and Operations, I played a pivotal role in driving the organization's mission and ensuring operational excellence with people at the center of my work. I was essential in response and leadership needed to navigate a Social Services Agency through the Covid-19 Pandemic. My responsibilities encompassed a wide range of critical functions which included the oversite of all Operations including 3 buildings, a fleet of 15 cars and all Technology. As well as creating and leading a new Human Resources Department focused on People and Culture.

Highlights:

Oversaw a multi-million-dollar budget and implemented several cost-saving practices that resulted in the ability to create multiyear budgets.

Negotiated a 3-year union contract and created a collaborative supportive relationship between management and bargaining members.

Created new staffing structure to ensure mobility for staff members while ensuring stability and growth for the agency which included an Employee Development program resulting in thousands of hours of elected educational opportunities and certifications.

Spearheaded an agency wide DEI system bringing in consultants and training utilized through the vertical.

Kept staff whole and agency running through the pandemic without a single lay off by reallocating resources and guiding the agency through organizational change.

Developed and executed contingency plans, ensuring the organization's resilience in the face of the unexpected challenges of a non- profit during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Developed an Employee Development program resulting in thousands of hours of elected educational opportunities for our staff as well as an internal mentor and training series.

Chief of Strategic Planning and Innovation July 2017-June 2019

As Chief of Strategic Planning and Innovation I spearheaded transformative initiatives and ensuring alignment between the organization's strategic vision and technological capabilities. My responsibilities included the development and execution of the organization's strategic plan, translating long-term goals into actionable strategies, collaborating with cross functional teams to identify key objectives, milestones, and performance metrics. I drove the organization's technology initiatives, ensuring they were in line with strategic objectives and most importantly our agency’s mission at the core. Evaluated and integrated technologies and software to optimize processes, data management, and communication. Leading all outside and internal technology vendors in project management and ongoing maintenance.

Highlights:

Facilitated the creation of a comprehensive 3-year strategic plan, from research and development to execution, aligning organizational goals with evolving needs and trends.

Designed and launched a customized Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform to increase user adoption, improve data gathering, and enhance program delivery efficiency. Understanding the importance of incorporating learning styles and training to ensure comfort and adoption of staff with varying tech acumen.

Conceptualized and delivered a mobile-based tracking tool for real-time monitoring of program participant progress, enhancing data-driven decision-making.

Pioneered an annual "Carnival of Inclusion," a fun and educational event that teaches IDD and community partners about DEI topics, including implicit bias, cultural humility, inclusion, and universal design.

Created “Ready, Set, Fly”, a partnership with SFO which includes training for airport staff and families with loved ones on the autism spectrum. Allowing them to practice navigating the airport and flying. This is an annual program being replicated nation wide.
