Managed and led all procurement staff for an OEM supplier heavily focused on injection-molded finished components to all North American-based over-the-road truck manufacturers and numerous large fleet operators. Created tactical processes and established weekly review meetings with top suppliers. Leveraged better pricing with longer forecasts. Relocated molds/tooling from non-performing suppliers to new suppliers. Drove implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) to verify all drawing revisions are correct for RFQs and improve new product launch and was procurement lead for IATF audit verifying compliance and ISO requirements. Worked with production and sales teams daily to ensure few stock-outs in production operations which relied overwhelmingly on OM forecasts vs. firm contracted demand.
