SEARS HOLDINGS CORPORATION 2005 - 2010

Manager, Talent Acquisition (2008 – 2010)

Managed a team of six Recruiters and one Recruiting Coordinator

Responsible for all recruitment for Corporate IT Division as well as for the #6 highest grossing eCommerce Division in the world.

Handled a recruiting desk concurrent to managing a team. Maintained between 10-20 open requisitions. Typically, Manager Level to VP level but still assisted team with recruiting all roles to keep my skills sharp.

Created a Standard Operating Procedure for recruiting and overhauling the process that was in place. The result was a significant decrease in cost per hire and 27% decrease in time to fill open positions.

Implemented and fully utilized an applicant tracking system (Webhire) that was not being used at all upon my arrival. This allowed full interaction with hiring managers across North America.
