Throughout my career I have worked in a variety of positions, mostly in an office environment. Almost all job positions involved the use of Microsoft Office and a variety of other windows-based applications including several custom written ERM record keeping applications to accomplish management record keeping and reporting of the cost, progress, and completion of assigned projects. In most cases I have used Microsoft Word and Excel primarily but have also utilized Microsoft Access to create basic databases for use in data transformation and am also familiar with the use of Power Point in creating presentations for business purposes.

I am also comfortable with the use of several types of office equipment including desktop PC’s, Document Scanners, photocopying, and printing equipment typically used during daily business activities.

February 2023 – January 2024 - Responsible for preparation and upgrade of the South Carolina Department of Technology Operations (DTO) OnBase test and production platforms. On completion of this responsibility, the contract covering my employment ended.

1996 – 2000 - Document Scanning Conversion Services Manager responsible for management of 25 employees in a document conversion services facility. Responsibilities included scheduling and defining conversion process requirements and monitoring production timelines and delivery schedules for multiple conversion projects.

1993 – 1996 – Document Microfilming Conversion Services Manager – Camp Hill Facility. Responsible for management of 15 employees in the microfilm conversion services facility. Additional responsibilities also included conversion and migration of an estimated 143 million medical record documents from the existing McKesson Medical Records Management system to the OnBase Production Medical Records Management system.

2007 – 2008 – Senior Engineer in charge of design and deployment of the State of Delaware Office of Pensions OnBase system for 4 departments. The Project involved adapting an existing ViewStar Document Management to the new OnBase environment and conversion of existing documents to the OnBase system. During deployment of the system, functioned as primary project manager responsible for reporting implementation progress and coordination of user acceptance testing and final go-live of the implementation.

2003 – 2004 - Senior Engineer in charge of design and deployment of PA Department of Public Welfare SSI OnBase Disbursement and Reconciliation Project. Project involved adaptation of similar payment and reconciliation high volume workflow process to generate monthly check and EFT payments of PA Social Security Supplement for an average of 275,000 recipients. During deployment of the system, functioned as primary project manager responsible for reporting implementation progress and coordination of IS, Database resources.

1996 – 2000 – Started IMR Digital Document Conversion Services department. Developed additional capabilities for conversion services through careful selection of production-oriented software applications used to convert and index paper documents to digital formats suitable for import to existing customer systems.

1993 – 1996 – Adapted and upgraded existing Production Tracking and Billing application to version 4.5 of Rbase. Modified and added functionality to the existing application to provide functionality for logging and monitoring of cost and production status of microfilm conversion jobs.

US Navy – Storekeeper 1st Class

1978 – 1979 - Completed Boot Camp and Storekeeper A-School training and was assigned to Fast Attack Submarine Tender homeported Charleston, SC. Received additional specialty training in Shipboard Automated Data Processing Systems (SUADPS) used by the USN for accounting and inventory management of repair and consumable supplies.

1979 – 1981 - Assigned as SUADPS system administrator responsible for scheduling batch processing of inventory and financial transactions to the SUADPS system. Responsibilities included review and adjustment of monthly inventory reorders and management of ongoing stock inventory processes.

1981 – 1982 – Assigned as SUADPS Financial coordinator responsible for management of inventory and departmental financial status reports for the ship.

1983 – 1986 – Assigned to Shore based Intermediate Maintenance Facility, responsible for inventory and financial management of repair and consumable orders. During assignment, worked closely with repair department Information Systems individuals in development of a Repair/Supply tracking system designed to identify repair part status with associated repair jobs activity. Throughout the assignment, improved several 2558supply management processes through automation or adaptation of processes to automated processing.
