To obtain a position that utilizes and further develops each of my skills and will allow me to work my way up into a position of Transformer Service Engineer and seeking to leverage a power plant and transformer maintenance skills and leadership abilities in the role of Electrical Supervisor.

Project: EWA (electricity and water authority) KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN

Responsibilities:

1.Power transformers, reactors maintenance and functional testing of 220/66 KV, 66/11 KV, 33/11KV (ABB, AREVA, SCHNIEDER, ALSTHOM, FUJI, NISSIN) Transformers

2.Insulation resistance (Meggering) testing and Transformer turn ratio test for power transformer.

3.Break down voltage of a transformer insulating oil - Testing procedure.

4.New power Transformer erection and commissioning, Power transformer overhauling

5.Initial inspection & Testing of all protective devices of Transformer such as CT, PT, BUCHOLTZ, PRD, OTI, WTI & cooling system etc.

6.Transformer oil filtration.

7.Assisting the switching operation of various switchgears like ABB, TOSHIBA, JAEPS in EWA (Electricity and Water Authority, Bahrain) substations in Bahrain.

8.Total dismantling and reassembling of all transformers mounting and accessories.

9.Inspection and systematically logging the events and abnormalities like common faults and tripping.

10.Preparing and submitting the technical reports

11.Replacing gasket and Replacement of gauges and indicators, replacing pumps, cooling fans, and bushing replacement on both HV and LV side.

Responsibilities:

1.Knowledge of reading the single line diagram.

2.Work permit holder performing authority (PTW).

3.Assemble and disassemble of HT and LT Motors and insulation test and Winding resistance test.

4.Generator weekly test for carbon brush level and grounding cable of check.

5.Transformer monthly maintenance for oil level in main tank, OLTC Count check, winding temperature and oil temperature check, surge. Arrestor sF6 gas level check and fan manual check, breathe breather, oil Circulating motor, any oil leak check in LV and HV bushing.

6.Power control center (PCC Room) battery weekly check measure voltage and current, battery level check sulphuric acid, if any battery leak Damage visual check.

7.GT/ST Generator circuit breaker monthly check for GCB operating count check, Hydraulic motor rotation check, sF6 gas level check.

8.Circuit breakers monthly check for VCB 6.6KV and 11KV, ACBs in Siemens.

9.Actuators Annual Maintenance:

Check for correct engagement of hand wheel.

Check for correct operation of valve by hand-wheel.

Check local operation and remote operation.

Check for oil leakage, grease, indication on/off/close.

10.Lighting System annual maintenance.

11.Small power and Lighting System annual RCD/ELCB Testing.
