This System also provided users with an analytical interface for resolving conflicts involving rejected prescriptions. This system was implemented mostly using COBOL/CICS background transactions working with VSAM for data interfaces and DB2 for data repository.

Responsibilities included: development of a new background CICS function for matching incoming prescription orders against corresponding Subscriber plans producing new prescription entries and maintaining dispense limits; Logical design and creation of a new set of DB2 tables for the prescription orders shipping process; development and implementation of several new CICS screen functions for historical prescription analysis by Subscriber and other elements, functions utilized complex SQL queries for mining the necessary data; Creation of Ad-hoc batch/DB2 reports for various user requests.

Participated in the maintenance and redevelopment of the Trade Reconciliation Reporting System, a component of the International Trading Verification System.
