In my role as a fitness professional, the first client meeting involves thorough data collection and understanding the client’s unique needs. Here’s how it typically unfolds:

I start by gathering essential information about the client, including their age, height, weight, and activity levels. Using this data, I calculate metrics like BMI (Body Mass Index), BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate), and TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure).

Next, we discuss the client’s goals. Whether they’re preparing for a special event (like a wedding, competition, or vacation) or making positive lifestyle changes due to health issues, obesity, or diabetes, we tailor our approach accordingly.

Before diving into physical training, I ensure the client’s safety. I provide Health ParQs’(Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaires) and assess their health history. It’s crucial to confirm that their doctor has cleared them for training without any restrictions.

Throughout the process, we take progress measurements at the initial consultation and subsequently every four weeks. While pictures are encouraged, they are not mandatory.

Once legalities are addressed, we kick off the training program. We focus on functional stretching, step-by-step demonstrations, and emphasize proper body posture and mechanics. Preventing injuries is our top priority.

This position was at several different locations. I have promoted U R The Star’s services to local bars, people interested in DJ for private events (weddings, New Years Eve, Private Parties) I’ve advertised in person, gotten referrals from previous clients, and posted advertisements on social media. I would arrive at the event with designated music picked for special times (father daughter dances etc.), set up equipment; lights, amps, speakers, microphones, and finished set up with lighting and sound checks. At the end of the event, I would touch base with clients to ask about any suggestions or things that I could’ve done better, but as an avid people lover I kept the crowds pleased sharing fun facts and short jokes throughout the evening.

I follow Share Omaha and really enjoy jumping in whenever I can, especially whenever it hits home between my family and friends. I try and take the initiative! I’ve even developed my own mobile application while I was a Fitness Coach. I hold a Professional Status in Natural Bikini Fitness Competing. What an honor to have accomplished the Pro Status. To promote my brand #getNfitwithJenn along with my mantra #MeVsMe and mostly to help instruct my online clients, (even landed a client in Munich, Germany whom I prepped for a photoshoot) I started a YouTube Channel. I’m an avid lover of knowledge, so in my free time I work on LinkedIn Learning Courses to receive course certifications and often dive into podcasts. My most recent Author and host I am listening to is Doctor Andrew Huberman whom is an incredible human just stacked with knowledge and he’s a neuroscientist!
