Worked with the Survey Applications team on an education research study that investigates high school course-taking patterns across the United States. As part of the study, course offerings from a variety of schools and districts in the United States were collected. The documents ranged from simple lists of course titles to catalogs containing detailed course descriptions. Examined, analyzed, and researched all available information about these courses and used a common course classification system to apply a classification code to each course and subsequently matched courses from students' transcripts to the course offerings that were previously researched.
