Duties & Responsibilitie

PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT.

Ensure targets are met as far as raw kernel, value added products, beverages production is concerned.

Ensuring good quality of raw material is procured by advising the field operations department on quality issues. Always guided by the company and set standards.

Ensure maintenance of high standards of hygiene in processing as provided for in our food safety program. Ensure adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMPs) always.

You will be expected to maintain in good order factory machineries, and other related assets, research on upgrading current ones, advice on acquisition of others as business grows. Any machine/equipment breakdown must be communicated to the Operations manager.

You shall be a member of the factory weekly production meetings.

You shall prepare factory monthly reports and forward to the Factory Manager monthly by the 5th of every month.

You shall ensure bi-annual appraisal of processing staff at Macadamia Factory.

You will ensure preparation and timely dispatch of both local and export consignments.

You shall ensure timely acquisition and requisition of all factory requirements.

Research on all matters relating to macadamia, cashew nut, tea and coffee processing.
