I am a foodie that has been in the hospitality food and beverage industry for 23 years. My love of food started in 2000, when I gained experience in the grocery industry leading to leadership positions for five years in five locations at Trader joe’s and four years in a Specialty Team Leader position at Whole Foods Market as well as working in the meat department for Vons / Safeway. In my hospitality food & beverage journey at UCLA Dining Services, I learned every aspect of back the of the house operations by completing a yearlong mentoring program in which I worked multiple shifts in the following departments: Purchasing, Accounting & Food Coordination, and Catering. My love of food & beverages has led me to present cheese platters tableside in Beverly Hills at Wally’s and becoming a manager there opening the Santa Monica location. In 2018 I became a supervisor for the opening of the United Polaris lounge at LAX, overseeing the bar as well as being part of a team responsible for all aspects of a hotel at the airport. In 2020 I could not pass up an opportunity to become a general manager of a small boutique restaurant in Playa Vista, with Covid ending my stay there. In 2021 for 3 months, my journey led me to a premium supervisor position at Sofi stadium and YouTube theater in the clubs department at Legends.
Having 10 years of leadership experience from 6 different companies has helped me understand profit and loss, inventory analysis, health department regulations & HACCP, consumer & retail trends, vendor relations, ordering & invoicing, leadership courses as well as overseeing 10 to 20 team members at any given time. Certificates in the past have included ServeSafe manager, CPR awareness and ABC alcohol classes. I have completed several leadership courses and personality assessments in many of these organizations which have molded me into a person who strives every shift to create lasting memories with team members and guests. It would be my pleasure to have your company on my journey.
