I am contacting you in regards to a Welder posistion that is on the Lockheed Martin job board. It is well known that your business, Lockheed Martin, has a strong history of giving back to the community through monthly volunteering days and seasonal food drives. That is a quality that I really admire in a company and as a result, it is with great enthusiasm that I submit my application today.
I have worked as Welder for over 7 years within both the public and private sectors, which has exposed me to many different types of work environments. I feel most comfortable working independently or in a team setting where each employee is valued, rather than a huge organization where I felt like a number. I enjoy the interaction that accompanies working directly with customers to bring their visions to life. Throughout my work experience I have proven myself to be highly organized with excellent time management abilities, and keep my work area clean and organized. I am a self-starter and I am resourceful and a good problem solver, though I do ask for clarification when needed.
You’ll see on my resume that I have worked multiple professional careers that required me to be certified in the AWS welding certificate. I am knowledgeable about industry safety best practices and take pride in keeping my equipment in good working order.
