Lonjezo Chitanda is an experienced receptionist and billing clerk practitioner with 11 years working experience in receptionist and billing work, responding to client’s complaints, capturing data, printing and photocopying office documents, cleaning the reception room which obtained from my current post as Billing Clerk/Receptionist at MASM Medi Clinics Limited. Billing Clerk April, 2021 to date

Duties,

·Gathering patients billing information by reviewing patient’s hospital records.

·Checking for completeness and producing bills immediately before patient’s leaves the clinic.

·Preparing patients invoices/billing on daily basis and ensuring that no patient leaves the clinic without a bill or payment for services.

·Ensuring billing/invoicing of the month is complete in time.

·Preparing monthly reports of invoices by summarizing billings, adjustments and revenue received.

·Assist the accounting department with the preparing of financial reports.

·Resolving disputed claims by gathering, verifying and providing additional information.

·Receiving goods from suppliers in accordance with standard operating procedure

·Preparing a summary of goods received notes and forwards it to creditors clerk for capturing and payment

·Issuing goods received note (GRN) to record goods received.

·Any other duties as assigned from time to time by management.

MASM Medi Clinics Limited

Receptionist/Cashier 2012 – April, 2021

·Welcoming patients/clients and visitors.

·Checking validity of membership of patients on any other medical schemes.
