WORK EXPERIENCE:

Ship Dock Associate / Ship Dock Learning Ambassador April 2019-August 2021

• Perform varied and specialized tasks in multiple areas on and around the ship dock to aid operations in reaching productivity metric goals.

• Trained to perform in more daunting roles such as Powered Industrial Tool operator, Trailer Dock Release Operator, and Robotic Palletizer Operator.

• Improve dock mobility by taking initiative to fulfil critical role responsibilities as the need for said roles change.

• Maintain an open line of communications with both associates and managers to foster a well synergized work culture.

• Proactively address issues related to dock function by fulfilling any role required and completing any task in the direct path of that goal.

• Proactively address issues related to associate retraining by escalating issues present on the dock to leadership and starting the problem-solving process.

• Support an open line of communications with both operation and support leadership throughout the shift to bridge gaps in training process and procedure.

• Proactively address issues related to outbound plan adherence by training, coaching directing and managing learning ambassadors throughout the training

• Address issues related to associate retraining by resolving escalated issues present within the Outbound workflow hierarchy by administering corrective actions such as supplemental training, new process cross-training, quality corrective material development, and disciplinary corrective auditing.
