Lead a group of over 30 employees both civilians and contractors as well as active duty personnel. I have extensive knowledge of clerical/technical procedures and requirements related to organizing and maintaining various complex task tracking suspense systems. Championed the upgrade of the remodel of the satellite pharmacy to make improvements for staff and patients. Successfully mentored students as well as new airmen both professionally and personally. Developed and led training efforts for new pharmacy staff and students. Duties: Conducted monthly clinical inspections at Vandenberg clinic rotating stock and ensuring the correct inventory and checklists are adhered to in each department. Typed accurately and quickly in CHCS systems, calculating doses to match physician's order with pharmacy stocks and filling prescription tablets, liquids and mixtures as directed. Managed all pharmacy ordering of medications keeping the proper stock rotation to reduce medication waste and save the government money by ensuring contract compliance taking us from 50th place in the Air Force to #1 with over 97% compliance. Extensive experience utilizing the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) and the Medical Master Catalog (MMC), procuring contracts and saving over $137k in costs my first year.
