Job Responsibility : BTG Desk Operation
Work Outline-
● Worked as a Desk Engineer BTG (Boiler, Turbine and generator and its auxiliaries). Monitoring & controlling plant operation, load throw-off to control generation as per requirement & handle emergencies including Black-out.
Handled unit start-up & safe shut-down, line-up of the unit & its auxiliaries, changeover of equipment, routine testing of protection system and annunciation system.
● Optimizing APC & best operation practices to increase Heat Rate.
● Emergency equipment trail and restoration of process & equipment and Carrying out root cause analysis of equipment tripping & failure.
● Taking account daily generation, loss of generation, daily consumption (Fuel, Oil, Water) reporting to operation manager.
● Understanding of ABT and PPA’s & also familiarised about SAP.
● To ensure the adherence to environment, health & safety of manpower & Unit through PTW system & strict compliance of SOP’s.
● Adjust over fire damper to maintain re-heater temperature and to control NOX emission at chimney outlet.
● Following best O&M practices for better equipment performance & reliability and also monitor the loading of machine and co-ordinate with load dispatch. WORKING EXPERIENCE
