• Implemented and analyzed research paper in depth that primarily emphasized accuracy in ML models, while addressing fairness. Software Engineer II – Microsoft Feb 2022 – Aug 2022 Worked on a collaborated (across IDC, Redmond, and IL) project called Excel Live whose goal is to integrate Excel Online in MS Teams to provide all the edit functionalities to the participants in an ongoing Teams meeting which will cater to the need of ~19M MAU. • Developed Print Area & Breaks features under the Page Layout tab of Excel Online and executed the complete SDLC; gathered requirements along with designing and implementing; analyzing data and feedback; delivered the project to 30M users.

• Provided support for print previewer features such as gridlines, alignments & headings to enhance the print previewer capabilities, reducing the inadequate OCV (Office Customer Voice) by 58% while doing quantitative analysis.

• Introduced a new view called ‘Focus View’ in addition to the View and Edit modes of Excel Online, which increased the workable sheet area by 40%; redesigned the ribbon with top 100 (according to telemetry) ribbon commands and placed it vertically; got

• Integrated and optimized the APIs to provide the support of Basic, SSO, and local (PIN and Fingerprint) authentications for Oracle’s CRM a product called CX Sales, which improved the performance of login flows, making them 20X faster than before.

• Coordinated with team members in Redmond to discuss the design models for Application Definition Generator to customize the data fields and design according to the customer requirements.

• Provided deep linking support for the data records, which configured the application booting and additionally, displayed the details of the record from entry points like WhatsApp, Instagram, Hangouts, and Facebook with VPN enabled.

• Configured the infrastructure to add attachments (images, audio, video) using OJET libraries for the customers who wanted to store additional information with-in their records.

• Secure Key Management Scheme with Vulnerability Constrained Routing (VCR) for WSNs: Computed the VCR routing algorithms to achieve 97.8% more secure paths than AODV routing protocol for communication; simulations were done using MATLAB and NS2.

• HealthyMe: Customized solution for good health practices based on age groups using XAMPP server and SQLite database.

• Chess Engine: Implemented the alpha-beta algorithm using JS to deduce the optimal move dynamically according to the opponent’s move, representing the moves as numbers according to chess pieces’ significance and finding the move using the tree data structure. Co-curriculars
