My mother became increasingly weak/alone after my father passed. Mama lived in our church Senior Citizen Apartments until she was taken to the hospital and placed in Intensive Care in February of 2005.
Mother came to live with me after her release from the hospital, and remained with me until her demise. Mama remained with me, even on the program called At Home Hospice. She was 93 years old. Caregiver to daughter 01/2003 to 01/2005 Caregiver Mableton, Georgia My daughter was in a car accident; after life support, I became her caregiver. I worked with her on her coping skills, while the hospitals, and other personnel worked on making her better medically.
I worked with her from the Pre-K level to the eighth (8thj) grade level. I taught her to depend only on herself that I would not be here with her always. Happy to say she lives on her own today and holds a part time job. She still lives with a brain injury from that car accident. Caregiver to my daddy

Community Involvement
I would love to do a lot of community work, but have been very involved in Caregiving to my family members. I do a lot of rescue of animals; there are cats in my neighborhood, who are sweet s they can be-a lot of them are pregnant.
I have found homes for all of them except two, which I adopted. There are young mother kittens, who are about to give birth to their own little kittens, the mothers were adopted just in time.
I do s much work with m y church as possible.

I was a member of all of the organizations while I taught school, or worked in the field of education. I was in the local organizations as well as the national organizations. Why I am a Great Educator
I think I would be a great candidate because I sincerely care about children. Children have been my life's work even before I became a parent and grandparent and a young great grandparent. When I was a child, my uncle taught my Sunday School class, he use to say-please speak like a child! My mother, grandmother, aunts, uncles, and distant
cousins all were/are educators. When my great aunt, became not only an educator, but an integral part of Black Teachers gaining the respect, equality and pay as others, I was so amazed at the position she held, when one day-she told me that education is not about the teachers or administrators, or anyone at the top, but about the children gaining all they can to make it as functioning individuals in society and going far beyond that. I have learned that Love and respect are the-key to attaining trust and respect from our children-and that they respond to those qualities far better than any other quality of a teacher other than understanding and treating each child as their need arises. Therefore, through experiencing each child as an individual, I always seek out the affective needs as well as the effective needs of our children. These are the qualities I feel are desirous of a teacher and an educator; my knowledge, history, education, teaching and experience. Thank you-
