Overall Agency Improvements

● Increase staff morale and trust for our 200 staff and independent contractors resulting in a decrease in turnover of 35.9% over 5 years.

● Completed a third benefits broker transition which will save the Agency approximately $18,000 annually in fees. This also save countless man hours that used to go into benefits administration for the HR staff.

● Created and implemented efficiencies surrounding recruitment and onboarding new staff, shortening the vacancy period while increasing productivity for relevant departments.

● Created and implemented procedures and best practices for payroll processing and record keeping, reducing processing time and errors.

● Evaluated and ensured all policies and procedures are relevant to the current societal changes while still following laws and regulations set forth by our city and state government and funding sources.

Covid-19 related actions

● Played a key role in evaluating, planning, and implementing rules and best practices around remote work as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

● Continuously evaluated the Agency’s workforce to make recommendations and facilitate reduction in force measures.

● Recommend and facilitate the rebuilding of business as we were able to welcome back our workforce.
