Responsibilities as a primary health care physician in clinics and hospitals in Botswana included visiting patients in remote areas and providing them with the medical services, investigating the morbidity of transmissible and chronic diseases, teaching, and training new doctors and nurses, as well as educating the general population on health prevention and rehabilitation of complicated chronic diseases.
